100 Days Challenge, Days 26, 27, 28, 29 and 30

WOW, did I really not update this whole week Hit&Runners?

It was a very productive week for me, although none of the tasks I accomplished were particularly pleasant.  I had to deal with some car stuff, some job stuff, some finance stuff, and in general just the boring stuff that are necessary evils.  I have to say, I feel so good to have it all done.  There are still a few more things I would have liked to have gotten done and still some results I am waiting to see, but all in all I think I did well.

The great, wonderful, exciting, glorious thing is I never missed a work-out!  As a matter of fact, I'd be willing to wager a small fortune that this challenge has a great deal to do with my ability to be so proactive. It's becoming such a great metaphor for life:  Just put what you need to do at the forefront of your priority list and do it.  Often times, it turns out to not be anywhere near as unpleasant as you built it up to be.  Maybe I don't feel like exerting myself physically today.  Well, fine.  Just do it for 30 minutes and then I don't have to anymore.  I don't feel like dealing with the DMV.  Well then just go take care of it so you don't have to not feel like it anymore.

I did mess up my shoulder a little last week and have been doing a little physical therapy on my rotator cuff and the muscle right under my arm pit in the back (terries minor).  That means no weight bearing upper body exercises this week, but I think I really needed a week to focus on cardio.  I ran, walked or elipticaled every day, culminating in today's beautiful 6 miler in City Park in Denver.

30 days, guys.  30 x 30 = 900 minutes.  15 hours!

This week should be slightly easier time-wise, so I will try to be more diligent about blogging.  A cold front is moving into Colorado, so I will be doing some brave running!

Go Go Go!
